This series is made up of files of press clippings that the Office maintained. These files primarily document press coverage in campus publications such as the Tower Tribune and in local newspapers in the Greater Albany area, but coverage of the university in national publications such as the New York Times and Time appear as well.

This series appears to have served as a reference file of university-related publications maintained by the Office. These include publications created by interest groups affiliated with the school (such as New York Environmental News) and promotional materials created by the school itself (such as admissions mailers).

This series is made up of subject files the office maintained on university events that it promoted, such as research conferences, speaking engagements, building dedications and artistic performances. This series contains files as well on individuals and organizations that the office had contact with, inluding legislators and student groups. These files contain press releases, copies of advertisements placed in local publications as well as correspondence.
