In this series are publications (mostly journal articles) of interest to Link that were produced by other authors. In a certain sense, they can be categorized as specific and non-specific (although they are not divided into actual subseries).

Types of material include letters, carbon copies, journal articles, photographs and scientific research. Correspondence arranged chronologically pertaining to Woodcock's work aboard the research vessel Atlantis, 1930-1939, and work with the Navy on the smoke screens at sea project, 1944-45. Research into atmospheric sea salts and sea salt nuclei 1947-1986; Project Shower research into warm rain in Hawaii, 1954-1957; and Hawaiian cloud physics, 1952-1965. Also included is correspondence pertaining to Woodcock's study of Hawaiian rainfall, 1967-1972; atmospheric studies at the volcano Mauna Kea, 1965-1977; permafrost at Mauna Kea, 1969-1977; "mountain breathing" at Mauna Kea, 1976-1979; and Lake Waiau, 1965-1985. Correspondence dealing with Woodcock's research into sea salt, and studies of canal fog, 1979-1986. Other topics of correspondence include: physalia, 1944-1970; soaring gulls, 1937-1938; wave riding dolphins, 1946-1953; sargassum, 1947-1949; bursting bubbles, 1976; hail, 1976; Woodcock's research into his CIA file, 1977; hurricanes, 1985; slush and ice on lakes and ponds, 1987; rain droplet formation in clouds, 1990, study of Hawaiian trade winds, 1991; Woodcock's reception of the American Meteorological Society's lifetime achievement award, 1994; and budgetary matters. This series is divided up into eight subseries that document various prominent issues addressed by NYCAP in its work, particularly that used in its information clearinghouse and in programs it conducted. Subseries 4: Activist Organizations and Coalitions is a collection of materials from groups involved in promoting pesticide alternatives like NYCAP, or with other environmental issues generally. The series includes articles, correspondence, reports, pamphlets, and notes. The majority of the material was not produced by NYCAP, although it generally either part of a campaign they were working on, or information they distributed.

This series contains analysis of N.Y. State legislation bills by coalition staff and decisions to support or oppose a bill. The series also contains bill monitoring in the assembly and senate 1983-1984, along with bill reporting forms. Many Assembly and Senate bills, along with bill calendars/index can also be found for 1983-1984. Paperwork on opposition to the death penalty for the years of 1979-1984 are also present, lists of Assembly and Senate leaders stating their position on the death penalty, and the 1984 State of the State Message given by Mario M. Cuomo. Insanity defense paperwork by the New York Defenders Association, INC. can be found, along with memorandums of support for several different bills concerning such topics as acts to amend the criminal procedure laws, correctional law, and the penal law etc. The series contains proposed legislation concerning Parole, Permitting Prisoners Serving Life Sentences To Marry, Pre-trial Detention, Probation, Sealing Misdemeanor Records, Victim Compensation Laws, Marijuana Reform, Prison Construction, and Programs For Released Prisoners.

This series contains a number of original documents from Austria, including birth, marriage and university documents, as well as correspondence, documents and several photographs associated with his long career as a member of the Graduate Faculty of the New School for Social Research. Also present are correspondence and documents relating to Hula's Wiedergutmachung (restitution) and Austrian pension claims.

Series 1 contains Subject Files, which includes correspondence with the general public and organizations, budget information, education information, and information and correspondence about the Ways and Means Committee. There are also assorted newspaper clippings, reports, and notes taken by Hanks.

Contains personal correspondence of early presidents and formal annual reports 1912-1914.

This is an alphabetical letter series of the General Reference collection. The General Reference Collection was created by archivists to hold information on campus history that is not part of any organic record group. The collection contains material from a variety of outside sources, excepts from newspapers and other publications, press releases and promotional materials, and loose university records.

This series includes material about Ismay and the Albany area in publication form. Literature on specific scientific topics, newsletters, publications from other faculty members such as Vincent Schaefer, and State University of New York at Albany publications make up the bulk of the series.

This series contains various materials that Manley used for his research. It includes court transcripts and briefs, photocopies of manuscripts, reports, notes, news clippings, correspondence, publications, and photographs. Some of this material was used in the writing of Manley's book, The Treaty of Fort Stanwix, 1784. The majority of the material relates to Native American issues, which was an important focus in Manley's legal career. A good portion of this series does have some relationship to legal issues, but it was not included in the Legal Papers Series either because it was not directly related to legal cases or Manley was not directly involved in the relevant cases.

Series 1 contains materials Dr. Blanchard published while at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute and the State University of New York at Albany as well as after his retirement. The topics covered by these publications include the history of science, water-to-air transfer, aerobiology, sea salt aerosols, volcanic electricity, and surface charge. There are also materials covering his studies of bubbles, water droplets, and rain. Along with his scientific publications, Dr. Blanchard also wrote letters to editors, comments and replies to articles, book reviews, obituaries, and autobiographical articles. Dr. Blanchard published materials from the early 1950s to the early 2000s but the majority of materials in are from 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s.

These documents highlight people and places from the Coalition's history that were not prisoners or sources of funding. Many of the files document abolition involvement from European branches of Amnesty International, especially Scandinavian countries. More photographs can be found in this series, including benefits held with celebrities Mike Farrell and William Styron, plus photos of the Campaign for Compassion. There are also studies and articles written on death penalty-related issues.

The Subject Files series is an accumulation of material representing Studer's two primary interests: folklore and progressive education. Materials include notes, reprints, typescripts, news clippings, bound newspapers, journals, and writings of others. Of particular interest is a master's thesis by Marilyn Kimball entitled George Edwards: Catskill Folksinger. There is a typescript copy of "Merry Ditties: A Collection of Delectable Songs" from various traditional sources and a reprint of "Catskill Lockup Songs," both by Norman Cazden. Also located in this series is a copy of Herbert Haufrecht's "Woodland Serenade." There are three bound volumes of The New Student, a student run newspaper published and printed out of New York City during the 1920s and edited by Studer prior to his entering Columbia University.

This series contains materials relating directly to the activities and programs of the Center for Community Studies. Topics of interest include action research projects, extensive course materials, the Three Wishes Project, the development of educational television, the New York State Citizens' Council, the Poliomyelitis Project of 1956, in-school testing materials, student and faculty questionnaires and study notes, materials on different areas in which CCS was of service to the wider community, student papers and projects, the Study of Opinions on Medicine and Child Health of 1956, the University-Community Cooperation Project, and materials on workshops given by CCS. This series is restricted due to the inclusion of student material. Consult a member of the Department of Special Collections and Archives' staff for further details.

This series contains clips from local newspapers on a variety of topics, including branch activities. The bulk of the clips are from the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Series 6 contains Dr. Vonnegut's general interest and research files, as well as the inventions that he worked on throughout his career. Topics include: lightning, ball lightning, lightning strikes and the effect on aircraft, volcanic activity and storms on Mt. St. Helens and Surtsey, thunderstorm electrification, and weather-related instruments.
