There are crop marks on all four sides of the photograph and beneath the image is an inscription in Milne's hand that reads, "Very sincerely yours William J. Milne." Below the inscription and in the bottom margin is noted ".43 pg. 4-5" and an upper case letter "J" enclosed in a circle.
