CSEA activists and Syracuse, New York, City School District workers Laury Willoughby and Debra Martin used what they learned in the union's Labor Education And Development (LEAD) Program to turn a "staff development day" for their co-workers in the school district into an innovative "union development day" to help build union through learning.
