Malone is retiring from her union office as well as her state job after 33 years as a CSEA activist. The CSEA is New York State's largest union.

More than 400 CSEA members attended workshops and other presentations throughout the weekend to sharpen their union leadership skills and better manage their lives in and out of the workplace.
