Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA) opens its archives at the University at Albany. From left, head of the University at Albany's M.E. Grenander Department of Special Collections and Archives Brian keough, CSEA President Danny Dohohue, University at Albany President Kermit Hall, University at Albany CSEA Local 691 President David Harrison, American Council on Education fellows Janet "Jenny" M. Wagner from UMASS Boston College of Management,Patrick Sibaya of the University of Zululand, graduate interns Erin Hvizdak and Sarah Cross, and Associate Professor of History Ivan Steen, mark the formal opening of CSEA's archives at the university. Grenander's state of the art facility is housing and preserving important documents, publications and other materials from CSEA's history for future use and research.
