Nattell was a founding member of the political, economic and social activist groups CDANA/APEC. The group was originally called the Capital District Anti-Nuclear Alliance but at a meeting on January 18, 1982 changed the name to APEC to better reflect the organization's expanding areas of interest. This series contains many copies of the quarterly newsletter released by CDANA/APEC as well as the original publication galley proofs that were photocopied for the newsletter. Also included are newspaper clippings, article drafts, and galleys for tickets to events related to CDANA/APEC.

Founded in 1977 by Bill and Andy Spence, Old Songs, Inc. is a not-for-profit, educational corporation that sponsors and hosts classes, workshops, performances, and more to promote traditional folk music and dance. This series focuses on the administrative side of the organization. Andy Spence served as executive director of Old Songs, Inc. until 2018 when she became executive director emeritus. She also served on the board in varying positions from the 1990s to the 2010s. Board of Director binders containing fiscal reports, agreements, business correspondence, meeting minutes, emails, planning documents, flyers, agendas, event information, newsletters, and more are included in this series.

This series contains the records of Suzanne Lance, Fellowship Coordinator and Special Projects Officer for the Schweitzer Chair. The series documents Toni Morrison's tenure as the Schweitzer Chair. Contains grant applications, promotional materials, and correspondence regarding Schweitzer Chair initiatives. Also includes correspondence and copies of published writing from Schweitzer Fellows. Morrison's correspondence within the collection primarily concerns Schweitzer Chair initiatives. Additionally, this series contains flat files of posters and fliers for events sponsored by the Schweitzer Chair.

Publications, 1945-2000 2.33 cubic ft.

This series is made up of publications produced by the English Department for students and the public at large. This includes "News About English," a pamphlet containing departmental course listings and advising information (1977-2000) as well as various student literary magazines administered by the English Department at different times, Including Primer and Tangent. Additionally, this series contains a number of external publications produced by people and groups connected to the Department of English. This includes The Little Magazine, a literary magazine produced by the Writing Program at SUNY Albany (1966-1994) and 13th Moon, a feminist literary magazine edited by Judith E. Johnson, a professor of Writing and Women's Studies at the University at Albany, SUNY.

This series consists of published and unpublished articles, clippings, and other documents that Lowe gathered in connection with his academic research. Many of these materials consist of critical analyses of his work and were presented to him by colleagues. Others were written by faculty members at the New School for Social Research, among them Robert Heilbroner, Hans Jonas, Anwar Shaikh, and Hans Staudinger. Also included is a copy of Claus-Dieter Krohn's intellectual biography of Lowe, Der Philosophische Ökonom. Krohn, who was in possession of the materials in this collection at the time of Lowe's death, may have added the book to the collection.

This series contains information on miscellaneous subjects. Boxes 1 through 3 contain folders that are filed alphabetically. Among the prominent subjects, Box 1 contains documentation related to health and safety issues at KAPL sites. Box 2 contains information on naval shipyards and submarines. There is an extensive file on the Seawolf submarine. Box 3 includes testimony from the December 1990 hearing, environmental assessment, and documents relating to the AFR/NRDC lawsuit regarding the proposed installation and operation of the Advanced Fleet Reactor prototype at Kesselring site (1990-1992). Box 4 includes an extensive clipping file on GE and its issues (community relations, union, strikes).
