The Subject Files contain material related to SUNY organizations, institutions, personnel, and activities, as well as Board activities and responsibilities. The earliest item in the series is from 1969. There is some material regarding a proposed 1976 SUNY/CUNY merger. Files contain reports and correspondence related to this issue and financial concerns for both SUNY and CUNY. However the bulk of materials begin in 1977. The files include correspondence, reports, memorandum, and news clippings. There are a number of files on Chancellor Clifton Wharton Jr., the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities (CICU), the Independent Commission on the Future of SUNY, and SUNY/CUNY relations.

This series contains objects related to the Chi Sigma Theta Sorority. It includes jewelry, textiles such as blazers and banners, household items like plates and silverware, Spring Weekend keepsakes, and various other objects related to Chi Sigma.

This series includes project reports, published papers by staff, proposals, published programs and course materials, and workshop programs.

This series has been arranged into four sub-series: Correspondence and Memoranda, Legislation, Foreign Affairs, and Departments and Committees. The bulk of the records present in the 87th Congress are correspondence and legislation.

This series consists of news clippings on topics of interest to Casatelli. Duplicates have been removed from the series, but the clippings have not been arranged further. Many clippings relate to the Route 9 and 20 widening issue. Sources for the clippings include the Albany Times-Union, the Rensselaer Beacon, and the Independent. There are also some clippings on highway design and other environmental issues from newspapers in other regions, as well as clippings on Scenic Hudson's Great River Sweep event.

Scales of prices are the typographical union's contracts with employers. Although the varying wage rates for different types of work and different shifts are incorporated into these documents, agreements on working conditions are also included. These scales of prices have been divided into general scales (which include all types of work), newspaper scales, and book and job scales. As newspaper work is the predominant form in the union, newspaper scales of prices make up the bulk of this series.

This series contains information on the individual activities of the Albany Central Federation of Labor as well as the joint activities of the Albany Central Federation of Labor and other organizations. The series documents the first Workers Memorial Day, held in 1989, with fliers, posters, and other memorabilia.

This series contains four VHS videocassettes, 29 color snapshots depicting Route 9 and 20 in East Greenbush. Although the photographs are undated, they probably date from 1999-2001.

This series consists of records from Lumbard's position as special assistant counsel for law enforcement to Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller of New York. Lumbard served the governor in many capacities. He was an advisor on the social problems of crime and crime control, as well as a liaison from the executive chamber to criminal justice agencies and the courts in New York State. This series contains records regarding the programs Lumbard organized and/or initiated including: the Oyster Bay Conference on Crime also known as the Governor's Conference on Crime; the New York State Information and Intelligence System (NYSIIS); investigations into organized crime and gambling; and State Department of Crime Control. The series also contains correspondence, biographical information about Nelson A. Rockefeller, and research into issues such as racial violence, politics, and criminal justice.
