Donohue spoke at a public hearing on a proposed workplace violence prevention rule. The New York State Department of Labor rule, which would require public employers to put in place workplace violence prevention programs to protect their workers, builds upon the Worksite Security Act of 2006, which CSEA spearheaded and which provides safer workplaces for New Yorks public employees.
