- A letter from Beulah Bailey, vice president of the Association of State Civil Service Employees (as the Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA) was then known), requesting a telegram of greeting from newly elected United States President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on the occasion of the association's 1933 annual dinner in Albany, New York. Bailey notes that Roosevelt had been the association's guest at the dinner over the past two-three years during his term as New York Governor.
