SCHOHARIE LAND TRUST BOARD 
OF DIRECTORS MINUTES OF 
18 JUNE 1992 MEETING 
CALL TO ORDER: The regular meeting of the Schoharie Land 
Trust Board of Directors was called to order by Ken Hotopp 
at 7:30 PM at the  
Cooperative Extension Office in Cobleskill on 18 June 
1992.  BOARD

MINUTES of the 5 May 1992 meeting were approved. 
VROOMAN'S NOSE FIELD TRIP It was reported that the trip was 
a success. PRINTER AND PROCESSOR The Corresponding 
Secretary reported that we will  
be loosing the use of the word processor and laser 
printer. 
NY LAND TASK FORCE MEETING It was moved by Elliott Adams, 
seconded 
and carried that; the Land Trust pay the $20 registration 
fee 
for up to 4 people to attend the 22 July 1992 meeting in 
 
Ithaca, NY. 
ACQUISITION COMMITTEE MISSION STATEMENT It was moved by 
Elliott Adams, seconded, and carried to accept the 
mission statement as read.  It was agreed that each 
member of the Board should get a copy. A copy is 
attached. 
ARTICLE It was announced that the American Agriculturalist 
had an article on land trusts. 
WETLANDS RESERVE: Limited funds were approved for ASCS to 
purchase easements on lands that are actively being 
farmed and that were in the past wetlands.  ASCS will 
then return these lands to wetlands. 
NEW PROJECTS An attorney for the Town of Greenville asked 
if the Land Trust would hold an easement on some lands 
belonging to the Town. The Braun family is interested 
in putting an easement on its 
 
265 acres in Seward. 
501C3 No new news; we hope no news is good news. 
CSA PROGRAM It is still planned cosponsor, with the 
Catskill Center, a public information meeting on CSA. 
POLICY FOR COMMITTEES  It was moved by Elliott Adams, 
seconded, and passed that the Policy For Standing 
Committees be approved as amended.  A copy it 
attached. 
NEXT MEETING: The next meeting will be on the third 
Thursday as usual, 16 July 1992, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 
pm at the Cooperative Extension Office in Cobleskill. 
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 8:55PM.
