the presentation was well
received. Planning Boards felt he was right on.
Albany County Farm Bureau expressed some concerns
which were answered. Schoharie County Farm Bureau
president was quite strong in this questioning at
the presentation. It was agreed that it is
important for the Land Trust understand farmers
concerns and reservations about various land use
ideas. Additionally it is important that it is
clear to Schoharie Farm Bureau members and the
public at large that the Land Trust does not
necessarily espouse Humback's ideas, but felt
they were important enough to be heard and
therefore sponsored the presentation. Trust
members should contact Farm Bureau members on a
one to one to convey this. There are two video
tapes of the presentation.
