The Legislative and lobbying series is arranged chronologically.

The legislative and lobbying series follows the Hunger Action Network of New York States history with the state government of New York. The Hunger Action of New York State was active in legislative advocacy. There are two folders in this series that touch on hunger in other states. The lobbying and advocacy are at the heart of this series. Much of the materials focus on promoting the state of hunger and poverty in the state, HANNYS achieved this by advocating and lobbying for those who could not do it themselves.
