Peace Offerings Meeting
March 1995
Attendance: Stu, Ruth, Anne C, Reszin, Kim
Security Workshop: Kim updated us on the workshop. Many people
attended. She will type up information for everyone.
Some suggestions: We will have a list of suspects, we will have a
daily volunteer log, people should leave bags at counter.
Ordering Ideas: -Wedding Gifts for May/June: picnic baskets,
bed trays, Kicci Stone, Cermacis, candlesticks, SHCblack pottery,
marble vases, Tablecloths
-Gay/lesbian stuff for June: Pride flags
-Graduation presents: boxes, travel stuff,
backpacks
-School: Loving tender for teachers
t-shirts for teachers
-Mothers day stuff: recycled paper products,
loving tender, boxes, jewelry
-For clearwater & oldsongs: Instruments ($10
-$20) less varity, kid stuff finger cymbles, bells, Clothes for
spring, hats from tibet, Equador Wedding
shirts
-Misc: Inexpensive jewelry, Games, Museum
kits, Kids stuff from coop, Bags of instruments, Habitat for
Humanity pins
-Day of Dead: retablous, toys, skulls
Events:-Clearwater & Oldsongs: Get a better site, Call all
volunteers for tabling. Get a truck for setup. We should
open the store on Monday after Ulgsengs-
-Pinksterfest we should do a flyer. Should open Sat & Sun
May 13-14 & sunday till 6:00
-Earthday, Stu will table at the rally & we will do a flyer.
We have a Rainforest display from Anne's school. Earth
poems will be in the window & Stu will do a Coop window.
We have ordered organic cottons and recycled paper.
- Passover: next year we should do a mailing to all temples.
- June is pride month, we will do a mailing for 10% off We
will do a metroland ad, coopscoop ad and we _ need
earings, pins & necklace, static stickers, mugs,
- We will ask Carol King to do a Coop scoop article for volunteers
- We should open Sat at 11:00
