Subject Files, 1941-1996

- The subject files are some of the earilest material in the collection. The subject files came from the filing cabinets of Professor Bowers at Northeastern University. The material spans a great deal of interests and topics such ranging from Amnesty International to lethal injection to cameras in court.

- Arranged alphabetically.

Using these materials
- Access:
- The archives are open to the public and anyone is welcome to visit and view the collections.
- Collection restrictions:
- As an alternative to accessing the fully closed sub-series, researchers may also be able to access portions of aggregate data from the CJP study, which is not part of the collection at the University at Albany, to test specific research questions. Please contact an archivist for more details.
- Collection terms of access:
- The Department of Special Collections and Archives is eager to hear from any copyright owners who are not properly identified so that appropriate information may be provided in the future.
