AN ACT
to amend the environmental conservation law and the parks and
recreation law, in relation to requiring public hearings prior to
acquisition of land by appropriation
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and
Assembly, do enact as follows:
Section 1. Section 50806 of the environmental conservatién law
fi hereby amended by adding thereto a new subdivision, to ‘be
subdivision 2.1, to read as follows: ;
21 At least thirty days prior to the filing of such map and ~
description as provided in subdivision three hereof, thé CORINENORGE

§ 2 Section 3.19 of the parks and reereation law is hereby
amended by adding thereto a new stibdivision, to be subdivision.2.1,
to read as follows: ;

or his duly authorized representative shall, wpon, due notice, call a
public hearing in the county in which the land proposed to be so
acquired is located and at which persons interested may attend and
be heard thereon. _ ‘
§ 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
