were picked up and arrested for a mugging in New York City,
Connors told police that Edwards had struck a man fishing

recovered and both were charged with lst-degree murder,
Connors won the right to a separate trial and testified
against Edwards who was convicted and subsequently died in
the electric &hair at Sing Sing. For his cooperation,
