came incensed when Mr, and Mrs, Bengamin Greenawald objec-
ted to his attentions to their foster daughter, Mrs,
Bonneta Sherman. On the night of Nov, 22, 1926, Thoma
went to the Greenawald residence and clubbed Mrs. Greena-
wald who was there at the time to death, When Mr. Greena-
wald entered the house, Thoma, who was waiting for him,
then clubbed him to death also. When Mrs, Sherman, with —
whom he was infatua ted entered the house, he forced her —
