Aiken, Se Coy 8=25=1882-Robert Parker who killed his
wife by strychnine poisoning on 12-23-1881 was hanged
here today. He slept well last night. He maintained
his innocence to the last. He was perfectly calm and
took his position under the noose standing firmly. The
drop fell and in 13 minutes he was pronounced dead,
having died without a struggle."
