1921, when motorist John Tuggles gave them a ride. They
forced Tuggles about one half mile off the main road and _
beat him to death with an automobile jack, robbing him of
his money, jewels and cloths, — identified by people who
had_seen them with Tuggles, they were captured in Bain-
bridge, Gaey confessed and were convicted of the murder
in Crestview, Flaey where they were both hanged on septs
