Executed 9-1-1896, Pittsburgh, for the murder of Teresa
Brooks on IXM 1-8-1896 at Four Mile Runs was a 27-year-=
old immigrants came to this country from Szuhony, Hungary
in 1892; worked at the Elizabeth blast furnace on 2nd
Ave., Pittsburgh, and expected to marry victim who jilted
him; followed her to a friend's home on the fatal day and
