__PEARE, viscid tea ONIan

- Peare, an aged mountaineer residing near Coquille, Ore .,
made his -own whiskey, ~In-1923, during a drinkins spree,
he claimed to have learned that his wife was having an
_ affair with a neighbor, James Cylver, Peare killed both -
his wife and Culver and was sentenced to hang. Prior to
his execution, he spurned religious consolation and_
