Negro, was electrocuted at the skate prison here today,

He was theyoungest person ever executed since the electric
chair replaced the gallows in this state, nineteen years
ago. Wiley was convicted in Randolph County of attacking
a white woman last March, beating her insensible and leav-
ing her for dead. She recovered and testified against
him, Prison officials said he confessed after being con»
