In May, 1832, Sally Barneycastle was sentenced to be
hanged on June 30, 1832, in Mecklenburg County, N. Ce
Minute Docket Superior Court, Civilh& Criminal, Vol, 2,
1829-1851 Microfilm Roll, page 70, provided on 2-8-1982
by Mrs, Miles J. Boyer, 3818 Champaign St., Charlotte,
NC 28210, She says microfilm difficult to read and ori-
ginal book is at Division of Archives & History, Search
Room, 109 Hast Jones St., Raleigh, N. Ce, and suggests
that [I contact them for information on execution,

Pardoned June 8, 1832.
