Slave ABRAHAM February 15, 1805
According to ltr. dtd, 8-28-1983 from Dr. Philip J.
Schwarz of Virginia Commonwealth Unive, Richmond, VA,
Slave Abraham, slave of William Fitzhugh, was tried on
Jan. 1, 1805 Bor conspiracy and insurrection and subse-
quently hanged. Two other Fitzhugh slaves, Robin and
Cupid, tried on same day, were transported, Stafford
County, Virginia.
