Black, hanged, Memphis, Tenne, Auge 18, 1905. Murdered
his paramour, Irene Jones in a resort in Memphiss The
woman had left Champione He followed her to the resort
and without warning shot her to deathe He also shot
another negress who recoverede Champion escaped the law
for 2 while but was captured in Paducah, Kye, last Jane
and was convicted three weeks latere Date of crime was
