Negro Tom January 14th, 1704
Offence: Accessory to Petit Treason
Location: Westmoreland Co.
Ex Date: 1-14-1704
Details: Slave of Mr. James Orchard. He was present
at the murder of his master on 7-22-03 by
a white convict-servant named John Moore. And although
he did not strike any blows, he did help in the conceal-
ment of both the body and the crime. He managed to es-
cape for some months but was eventually captured. Tried
and condemned by a Special Court on 1-13-1704, he was
executed within twenty-four hours.
