1923, of Harry Leonard, in an attempted holdup of his

| saloon, was hanged in the city jail early this morning.
'Well, this has come to a conclusion and I am ready to
die,' were Williams! last words to the forty or ‘more peo-~
ple gathered at the jail to witness the execution. 'I am
dying like a mang I‘am innocent, Thay you boys. I am
going riding. Goodbye.' The trap was sprung ‘at 6:17 and
Williams was prnounced dead five minutes later,"
