Bill Jones, white, and Bill Miller, black, hanged at Aber-
deen, Misse, on 3-3-1882 for the murder of 3 brothers nam
Walker near there on 11-26-1881. Both died instantly,
necks being broken. Jones fainted while the rope was bein
adjusted. Miller said he expected to go straight to Hea-
ven and commenced singing in a sad and wailing voice.
The 3 Walker brothers, sons of a prominent citigen of
Russell Coo, Alaey Je Re Walker, were William A. Walker,
Alongo Re Walker and their younger brother. ‘They passed
hrough Aberdeen on 11/26/1881 on their way to Arkansas
and camped three miles to the west. Their bodies were
found on 11/28/1881 lying on mattresses coverdd with
