CENTRALL, George 11/30/1894,

"Belleville Illinois, Nov, 30, 189)-George Centrall was
hanged here today, He was executed upon his own plea of
guilty of mrder in the first degree, He and Annie Kohn
murdered the latter s husband on the 7th of last August
in order to better put themselves in a position to con-
tinue illicit relations already existing, A peculiarity
of the case is that after pleading guilty he was remand-
ed to jail and given an opportunity to withdraw his plea,
but he refused. Mrs. Kohn is in jail waiting for her
trial. She was at the hanging and shouted goodbye to
