Georgia, was found guilty of the murder of Mr, ‘eter
Garrison, late of Greenville district; and, agreeable

to the sentence of the Court, was burnt on the first

letter to the editors of the COLUMBIA TELESCOPE, that Mr,
Peter Garrison, a respectable farmer of Greenville Dist-
rict, was inhumanly murdered on the 20th ulte, in his
barn, where he had taken shelter from a heavy rain, He
was stabbed in his breast and the back of his neck, From
circumstances it is supposed the act was committed by a
