Videtoe, a/white man, lived with his parents two or three miles south
of Fort Covington, Franklin Co., Ne Ye In 182), Mrs, Fanny Mosley
went to live with them and she and Videtoe soon became engaged, She
was a native of Hawkesbury, Ontario, Canada, where she had married

a school teacher four years previously, Her husband had taken her

her father, and when they reached Fort Covington, he deserted her
