QONZALEZ and PELLICIER

Natives of Spain, hanged at Brooklyn, N. Y., on Oct, 12,
1866, for the murder of another Spaniard named Otero which
occurred on the night of Nov, 22, 1865, for the purpose
of robbery. Pellicier's full name evidently Theodore Mar-
tinez Pellicier and his alias was Francisco Gene Salvador,
Pellicier was a former waiter at the Rarcelona Hotel where
Gonzalez and Utero were staying, having just arrived at
New York together from Cuba (they had met onsteamer), Gor
zalez evidently planned murder for the considerable sumgof
money which Pellicier was carrying. Full account NEW YORK
