ANDREWS, Alfred James —

Hanged, Bellefonte, Paes, on April 9, 1890, for the murder
of Clara Price, a 17-year-old girl from Karthaus on

Nove 27, 18893 criminal assault and attempted rape; in
his confession he stated he had shot her as they conver-
sed the day before Thankgsgivéng; once at the scaffold,
he “kissed the sheriff, asked for a glass of water, read
the 1th chapter of Romans and gave a sermon of sorts";
