HARDY, Dock

Franklin, Gaey Jane 12, 1906-Dock Hardy, colored, was
hanged here yesterday (1-12-1906) for the murder of Mc-
Wilson white, Nov. 3 last. The hanging was private and
passed off quietly with few people here. Hardy killed
Wilson while he was sitting in a basket of cotton, using
Wiksonkaxamaxeak£aX wilson's own pistol, by slipping up
behind him. e was working for Wilson and Wilson did not
know he was mad at him, The negrogsconfessed the killing.
There were no eye-witnesses," JOURNAL, Atlanta, Georgia,
