Details: The negro boy SAM, aged about twenty years,
belonging to Mr. Durden, was hung at Lex-
ington Miss. on the 26th ultimo. He had been convicted
of attempting to kill Mr. Durden's overseer and then
setting fire to his ginhouse. He acknowledged his gutlt.
