WARREST QF aA SUPPOSED MURDERER. - Messrs. Zell,
Ridgely & ater oF this elev, we learn from tae
New Orleans Delta, have arrestéd, and hold in
custody, a slave who is charged with having
killed his master, named Dean, some few months
ago at his plantetion, in the vicinity of Lake
Providence, in Louisiana, It appears the negro
was sold to Mr. Dean by Hope H, Slatter, some
four years since - that after killing his maste:
four months since, he fled to Arkansas, and hav:

ing procured free papers, reached Baltimore, ye
