Murder conviction and death sentence of George Bowles in
Lincoln County, Mississippi, affirmed on appeal on March
12, 1906. 0 SOUTHERN 16h,

According to undated Chicago TRIBUNE, 1907, con
taining execution list for 1906, provided by
Dr. James Massey, U. cf Georgia, he was hanged
at Brookhaven on April 25, 1906 and he was
black.
