WISEMAN was a Pvt. in the 19th Infantry. He deserted
from Camp Meigs on or about 9/12/13 and again from
Camp Scioto on or about 1/10/14. BAKER was condemned
for desertion and High Treason. He was originally a
Bvt. in Capt. Whistler! s infantry Company) buts hadi des—
erted at Detroit in 1810 and shortly afterward fraud-
ulently reenlisted with a Capt. Rhea. Then he deserted
again on 8/21/10. Three years later he was taken in
arms against the United States with a group of enemy
prisoners and was recognized by his old commander,
