was put to death in the electric chair at Sing Sing Pri-
son today, Johnson, an ex=convict, treated his wife bad=
ly, and in the presence of their young children, shot her

Patrick, the Marsh murderer and lawyer, took a deep
interest in Johnson when the two were confined in death
house of Sing Sing and advised on appeal,"
