Dennis Sullivan was executed in the hall of the jail in
this city for the murder of Joshua Hubbard, Previous to
his execution Sullivan read a paper declaring his inno-
cence, and asserting that he died a firm believer in the
Roman Cabholic faith, He was attended by the clergymen of'|
his profession, and throughout the whole scene he conduct-
