"Shot a woman named Annie Kmetz on 7-22-1897 as
she lay sleeping with her 7 month old daughter.
Malinak had previously been a boarder in the wo-
man's house and had been turnedout by her hus-
band on suspicion of intimacy. Malinak sought

on the woman instead of the husband be-~
cause he regard her as a rectiphar's wife’ who
