of Kansas, had been in CoshoctongCo., Ohio, for two weeks”
when he met a little girl, Gertrude D'Ostroph at the
Courthouse Square at Coshocton onthe afternoon of July
30, 1926. He induced the child to accompany him to the
banks of the Walhonding River, one mile north of Coshocto
where he raped her and choked her to death, The body was
