Hazelhurst, Gas, May 7, 1910-John Suple, a negro, convicted
of killing Simon Lee, another negro, was executed by
Sheriff Ellis today at 11 o'clock, The physicians pronoun-
ced him dead in 12 minutes from strangulation, Religicus
services were held in the sheriff's office before the execu
tion in which Suple joined freely, singing and praying. His
