CROUCH, Thomas June 5, 1779

"Crouch, executed on June 5, 1779, in Berks Co. (Exeter
Township), Pae for Felony and Burglary. Was convicted
at Reading, Pae, on May 11, 17793; in attempting to rob
home of Jacob Hechler, a 'third party! killed Hechler,
and Crouch was blamed for the crime; case mentioned in
the READING EAGLE, Reading, Pae, 709-191).
