"April 17: Monday last David alias Daniel
Sullivan, (an Irishman about 23 years of age, Ww
who had twice been convicted fnto this county),
was tried for the murder of Donald McKennie in
Baltimore County on the 20th of Fepruary last
ana found guilty. He was this day executed
here with ifonn} Steaman and his body after=
wards hung in chains near the place where he
committed the horrid fact. He acknowledged
the crime and said he died a Roman Catholic,
put spoke very little at the gallows"
