Parker, a 29-year-old Berrien Co., Ga., black man, lured Marcus Lee,
a respected white citizen of Ray City who was over 80-years~old from
his. home and split his skull with an axe, Earlier on the day on
which he was murdered, Lee had a $100 bill in his possession and
when it was found on Parker, he was charged with the murder, Parker
admitted killing Lee, but claimed that he was drunk at the time.
Granted a change of venue from Berrien to Cook County, he was tried,

convicted and sentenced to death, He was electrocuted at the Georgia
State Prison on Dec. 13, 196.
