Victim: Lizzie Wagner. Date of crime: 1-21-1905, Entered
Wagner house that night & went to room where she and hus-
band were séeeping. She discovered presence and told
husband who Pearsall shot & then took Mrs, Wagner to ano-
ther room and raped. He was not recognized by them but
cirmumstances led to arrest and at time of capture he had
a pocket knife belonging to Wagner in his possession, He
