| Tarrence, an AWOL soldier, with his father, Roy, kidnapped
| Sheyear-old Francis McCormack, a Louisville, Ky., lawyer
| from the parking lot of a super market on Feb. 28, 1952
and drove him into a wooded area where they beat him to
death, weighted his body and threw it into a river. Their
motive was that they felt tha t McCormack was not fast
enough in §SeEXHEX obtaining a divorce between Leonard

and his wife. Leonard Tarrence,BShkSExSUXEREXHSEKXERKRBEX
BRAXSORX confessed and both he and his father died in the
electric chair_at Kentucky State Prison in Eddyville on
March I, 195%, when Leonard was 26 years olde
