On May 29, 1959, 20-year-old Erchibald, who had been in
trouble since he was 9=years-old, was released from an
Oregon prison. On Auge 26, 1959, he kidnapped young (/7)
Larry Walters from the filling station where the youth”
worked after robbing it of 8 $2.00 and drove to
Nevada where he shot the bound boy twice in the ba&k of
the head. He died in Nevada's gas chamber on Auge 235
1961.
